Measuring Your Window
How to measure your window to guarantee an exact fit!
Take your measurements using a metal tape measure and round off the measurements to the nearest 1/8 of an inch (0.3 cm). All measurements must be accurate and precise. Only measure the glass surface up to the window frame!

Measure the inside width in three different locations and take note of the shortest and longest one. Do not subtract anything from these measurements: we will calculate the appropriate reductions.
Measure the inside height in two different locations and take note of the 2 measurements. Only square and rectangular windows can be measured by this method. Irregular shapes need a template.
A template can be made as follows, using newspaper, craft paper, banner paper etc.: tape together paper to overlap the entire window. Crease along the edge of the glass pane and window trim. Then cut along the crease to create an exact template of your window. Make sure the template fits exactly into the window before sending it to us. We will cut your window to this template!
